Markets have reversed and are in a general sell-off!  

Sold IBM 142.37 

IBM had an analyst downgrade sending price action below the 9-Day SMA with a negative MACD and SS crossover and an RSI tanking below 50. Our loss was 0.86% in a seven-day trade.  

Sold RUN – 28.35  

We had a negative crossover of the SS which tends to proceed the MACD in many instances. With the general market sell off we want to defend our gains and enjoy a 1.98% gain in 1 day.  

Sold NOVA – 21.48 

Sold for the same reasons as RUN with a 6.13% gain in 1 day.  

Sold DOW – 57.45 

DOW shows a negative SS crossover during a general market sell off. With current market conditions, we are glad to book a 3.63% paper trade gain in 8 days.  

General market selloffs are not conducive to successful swing trades and indicators such as the SS help give us some insight of potential price action direction. 

We have had some good trades and a few losses but are happy to be up considering today’s market.
