Good morning.

The watchlist paper trade portfolio is down to three open positions as swings in market price action triggered sell limit orders for DOW and SO yesterday providing gains in both those positions.

This leaves us with BRKB, A and AWK. Stop limits will be set on A and AWK to maintain slight gains and reduce possible losses in the event the market turns against us.

Yesterday we pointed out three stocks from the Horizons list that met all the trading guidelines except they were trading under the 200-day SMA: CNC, ALL and NEE.

Today that list is down to only CNC as ALL and NEE now had a negative crossover on the Stochastic as markets fell yesterday after the FOMC minutes were released.

Today, we will continue to manage the current portfolio and keep an eye on the Horizons list for stocks that qualify to be moved up to the watch list.

Our goal is to preserve our wealth by following the trading guidelines and managing risk utilizing the charts to identify probably entry and exit points. When the trade is not there, we remain patient. If our trade goes against us, we exit the position with minimal losses or slight gains.

So far in April the Paper Trade Portfolio is up $1,860.00. There is still $1,162 in unrealized profits with the three open positions. We have closed 14 positions in April, with eleven gains and three losses (11-3). Total paper trade gains are $10,939.50 YTD.
