[Platinum Sell Alert] (5.10.23) Sell Alert for 1 stock

PAPER TRADE ONLY 

Sell PH – $334.20 

Price hit stop limit just above my max loss limit of 1.5%. This was a pricy stock, so I certainly would not want to let this trade get too far away from the cost basis. This provided the portfolio with a 1.45% loss or -$491.00 for a 100-lot position. 

Stock is currently trading at 325.77 so the lesson is to always know what you loss limit is and set stop limits. This is especially true in range bound markets. 

This also provides a lesson that even when the guidelines are positive, market conditions can make us tighten up the trading plan with smaller positions, tighter stops and just sitting out of the market and waiting.
