Sell ODFL – $311.43 

Price action opened at the cost basis and triggered a sell limit at support at the 20-day EMA. The RSI also retreated below the 50 level. This provided the portfolio with a 1.39% loss or $440.00 in total.  

Sell BWA – $45.15 

Price action opened below the cost basis and hit stop limit at 45.15 which has acted as resistance going back to early May. The RSI is below the 50 level and the Stochastic is below the %D line. The MACD is also rolling over. This provided the portfolio with a 2.17% loss or $100.00 in total.  

We have talked about how Market Conditions can affect the stock market and volatility. This market is thinly traded with AI associated stocks moving the Nasdaq and S&P up while the DJIA lags behind. A majority of stocks in the S&P are trading below their 50-day SMAs telling us we have not been experiencing a broader market rally over the past few weeks.  

Not every trade goes our way which is why we utilize stop limits. Utilizing stop limits prevents a trade from running up losses beyond our risk tolerance. The portfolio is still up $3685 for the month.
