Nasdaq 100 Rebalance and Four of the Magnificent Seven Report Earnings

Is this the week that markets take a breather?

Could this be a massive week for the stock market? Monday marks the rebalancing of the Nasdaq 100. Conpany’s such as Microsoft (MSFT), Apple (AAPL), Nvidia (NVDA), Amazon (AMZN), and Tesla (TSLA) will see a reduction in allocation within the index while Starbucks (SBUX), Mondelez (MDLZ), Booking Holdings (BKNG), and Broadcom (AVGO), among others will potentially see a increase in exposure.

Alphabet (GOOG , GOOGL) - Reports after the close, Tuesday, Jul. 25

Microsoft (MSFT) - Reports after the close, Tuesday, Jul. 25

Meta Platforms (META) - Reports after the close, Wednesday, Jul. 26

Amazon (AMZN) - Reports after the close, Thursday, Jul. 27

My concern about this week of earnings announcements is the buy on the rumor, sell on the news effect. Tesla experienced this on Wednesday last week after is reported earning yet gave a lack luster conference call. Could the same happen this week? I have a feeling it just may.
