[Platinum Watchlist] (7.17.23) 3 Stocks

Good morning. 

U.S. stock futures are down this morning. This week we will be looking for earnings from Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UAL, NFLX and Tesla. China reported disappointing economic growth figures. There will be no speeches from Fed officials this week due to the “blackout period” ahead of next week’s FOMC rate decision.

The sole position in the watchlist from last week is NSC. Price action continues to travel along the upper Bollinger Band and above all the critical SMAs. All the oscillators are in the green with support at the 9 and resistance at 238.52. This position is currently providing the paper trade portfolio with a $2.76 / share unrealized gain as of the close on Friday. 

TWST price action has maintained a level higher than the 200-day SMA for three days traveling along the upper Bollinger Band. Support will be at the 50 with resistance at 24.41 followed by 25.98. Cost basis improvement might be attained with a buy order closer to support.  

PKG is trading above all the major SMAs and all the oscillators are in the green. Support will be found at the 9-day SMA with some sell orders at 136.43. Volume on this stock is a little light for my liking so just be aware.
